Oh, the irony.
I was offed by a close relative of the little bear I sent out to kill for me.
But I'm still alive in the Granny Square and Dishcloth competitions.
This might look familiar, but I promise I started it from scratch. I made it on Wednesday evening when I got back from vacation, and mailed it off Thursday morning. I haven't received one in the mail yet, but I suspect there's been some sort of glitch because the event actually started on Monday morning at 9 am PST, and it couldn't possibly take a week to crochet a 6" granny square, could it?
My dishcloth weapons were diamonds (left) and diamond drops (right) knitted with size 7 and 6 needles, respectively, using good old Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn. Fun to finally start and finish a few things quickly, rather than stare blankly at the unbelievably old works in progress I'm currently avoiding.
And so, I live to knit another day!
good luck with the granny square and dishcloth competitions
