This week's color photo was taken back in November, when I was trying to spice up a boring day spent indoors. Just strategically placed slices of tamago, bread, and some seaweed salad for the face and hair (yeah, my kids will eat that). By the look of those smiles on my girls' faces, I think I succeeded.
Christmas vacation ends tomorrow, then it's back to school on Monday. It might be difficult to get back into the routine, especially the early to bed and early to rise. Hopefully, though, there will be a renewed energy, greater focus, more patience and understanding on everyone's part. I think I'm ready for 2008.
I think it takes back to school for me to really feel the new year has begun too.
Your girls are growing soooo fast.

Yum! Where's MY lunch? LOL! I'd smile, too! Seems funny to me these last few years to NOT follow the school calendar. (I taught for 22 years.) I had to re-adjust my brain to non-school time! As always, darling photos of your two lil' cutie-pies!

I love the expressions on the girls' faces! They're very photogenic.

Cute picture! My kids eat the seaweed too...mostly on crackers. :o)
Good luck with returning to the school routine tomorrow!
