Still working on my little crocheted heart, I think I like this elongated shape a little better than the other one. I might make a few of these for the Knit for the Cure charity event my guild supports.
It's been a hell of a day. Solo trip to the dentist with the kids, first visit for one, first polishing and x-rays for the other. Cavities were found, I was given bad news about Becca's tooth that hasn't fallen out yet, Jessie's teeth are apparently too close together, and, yes, my poor Becca threw up. Many, many dollars were shelled out (of course we have no dental insurance), and before it's all over I'll have to spend over $1000 more. There is something so incredibly wrong about forking over that much money for something that causes so much anxiety, sadness and pain.
I hope tomorrow is a better day.

I hope that it isn't too bad, the dentist can be traumatizing (for your wallet and kids). At least your heart is super cute. Today will be a better day (has to be).

We don't have dental insurance either and paying is usually the most painful part for me. I'm sorry you had a bad trip!

Luckily all kids in the UK get free dental treatment. But oh the guilt of a cavity. I feel your pain.
